My name is Steffen Haurholm-Larsen and I'm a PhD student at The University of Zurich, Switzerland. I am part of a typological project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation with 3 other scholars each working on the description and analysis of languages in different areas of The Americas.
In 2011 - 2012 I carried out a project to further the documentation of the Tol language of Honduras.
In 2009 I participated in the Project for the Documentation of the Languages of Mesoamerica where I worked on a dictionary of a variety of Nawatl (aka Nahuatl).
I did my BA and MA studies at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, Department of American Indigenous Languages and Cultures; as part of my MA I did 1 year of exchange studies at the State University of New York at Albany at the departments of linguistics and anthropology.
